Les Lawrenson – Solicitor – Bournemouth
I qualified as a solicitor in 1991, having graduated with a Master of Law degree, from Trinity Hall (Cambridge University), and I specialise in commercial property, land development and planning law. I have acted for some of the biggest developers in the country, and have experience in setting up complex plots. I also specialise in every aspect of commercial landlord and tenancy. One of my recent projects, was to act in the purchase of a residential tower block, that was intended for demolition and reconstruction, with a GDV of around £16m. In another transaction, I was the lead solicitor in the purchase by a hotel chain of a smaller chain of hotels, in a deal that brought the company’s overall value to in excess of £100m.
